Why study at Amherst

Amherst is an elite, historic New England college town in the picturesque Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, famous for its historic colonial architecture, cultural heritage (home of poet Emily Dickinson), and its renowned 'Five College Consortium' (Amherst College, UMass Amherst, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and Hampshire College - allowing students to cross-register across all five institutions at no extra cost). Amherst is home to the prestigious Amherst College (consistently ranked #1 or #2 Liberal Arts College in the United States, offering 100% need-blind financial aid to international students), University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst - the flagship R1 Doctoral Research campus of the UMass system, globally ranked top 20 for Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences, and Isenberg School of Management), and Hampshire College. Degrees are taught 100% in English with prestigious US accreditations (NECHE, AACSB, ABET). International students benefit from supreme academic prestige, free PVTA bus transit, and direct F-1 / I-20 Student Visa support.
