Why study at Belfast

Belfast is the dynamic, historic capital of Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom, world-famous for its maritime shipbuilding heritage (birthplace of RMS Titanic and the Titanic Belfast quarter), buzzing Cathedral Quarter, film production studios (Game of Thrones), and elite Russell Group higher education. Belfast is home to Queen's University Belfast (QUB - founded in 1845 by Queen Victoria, ranked in the world's top 200 by QS, a member of the elite Russell Group of 24 research-intensive UK universities with 2 Nobel laureates), renowned for the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences (GMC/WHO accredited), School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (leading in Cybersecurity / CSIT), Queen's Business School (EQUIS/AMBA-accredited), and School of Law, alongside Ulster University (Belfast Campus - magnificent £350M new state-of-the-art city-centre campus). Degrees are taught 100% in English with prestigious British and international accreditations. International students benefit from having the lowest student cost of living in the entire United Kingdom (Mercer Cost of Living Survey), thriving tech job market, warm hospitality, and direct UK Student Visa (CAS) support.
