Admission requirements
Academic Qualifications & UCAS Application (Early Deadline: Oct 15)
Certified secondary school graduation certificate (A*A*A for A-Levels, 40–42 with 776 at Higher Level for IB, or exceptional international credentials), submission through UCAS before October 15, completion of the My Cambridge Application portal, subject written admissions assessments (ESAT, TMUA, etc.), and academic interview at chosen College.
English Language Proficiency (IELTS Academic / PTE / TOEFL iBT)
IELTS Academic (minimum 7.5 overall with no band below 7.0), TOEFL iBT (110+ with 25+ in all sections), or Pearson PTE Academic (76+ with 70+ in all elements).
Student Visa
International non-UK students require a UK Student Visa (formerly Tier 4). The University of Cambridge or Anglia Ruskin University issues the electronic Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) upon fulfillment of all academic and financial conditions. Applicants submit the CAS statement, proof of financial maintenance funds (minimum £1,023 per month for up to 9 months outside London), and pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) for full NHS healthcare coverage.
How to Study
Choose your degree program and College at the University of Cambridge or ARU.
Submit your UCAS application before October 15 with academic references, predicted grades, and personal statement.
Register for and sit mandatory admissions assessments (ESAT, TMUA, etc.) in October/November.
Attend the academic admissions interview in December.
Receive your Conditional/Unconditional Offer Letter and meet English conditions.
The university issues your electronic Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
Apply for your UK Student Visa online and attend your biometric appointment.
Fly to London Stansted (STN - 30 min direct train to Cambridge) or London Heathrow/Gatwick, check into your historic College room, and matriculate.
