Why study at Curaçao

Curaçao is a vibrant Dutch Caribbean constituent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, centered around its capital Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its colorful Dutch colonial Handelskade waterfront, Queen Emma pontoon bridge, crystal-clear Caribbean waters, rich multicultural heritage (Dutch, Papiamentu, English, and Spanish spoken widely), and high standard of European-Dutch healthcare infrastructure. Curaçao has emerged as a premier hub for international higher education in the Caribbean, home to the University of Curaçao Dr. Moises da Costa Gomez (UoC - the national public university offering accredited degree programs in Law, Engineering, Business, and Social Sciences with strong European Dutch academic ties) alongside world-recognized US-curriculum medical schools: Caribbean Medical University (CMU - founded in 2007, offering a 4-year US-modeled Doctor of Medicine MD degree with USMLE Step 1/2 preparation and clinical clerkships in US teaching hospitals) and Avalon University School of Medicine (CAAM-HP, ACCM, and WFME accredited, listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools WDOMS and recognized by ECFMG/USMLE, GMC UK, and MCC Canada). Degrees are taught 100% in English. International students benefit from direct clinical rotations in the US and Canada, idyllic Caribbean tropical lifestyle, modern European standard of living, and streamlined Dutch Caribbean student residence permits.
