Why study at Davenport

Davenport is the largest city in the Quad Cities metropolitan area on the Mississippi River in eastern Iowa, celebrated for its Figge Art Museum, riverfront music festivals (Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival), beautiful Centennial Bridge, and as a major Midwestern manufacturing and healthcare hub (home to John Deere world headquarters nearby). Davenport is famous worldwide as the birthplace of chiropractic healthcare, home to Palmer College of Chiropractic (founded in 1897 by D.D. Palmer as the FIRST and largest chiropractic college in the world, educating over one-third of all practicing chiropractors globally with the accredited Doctor of Chiropractic DC degree), alongside St. Ambrose University (SAU - founded in 1882, renowned private Catholic university offering acclaimed programs in Physical Therapy DPT, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and AACSB-accredited College of Business), and Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC). Degrees are taught 100% in English with premier US healthcare accreditations. International students benefit from some of the lowest living costs in the Midwest, safe welcoming community, high clinical training standards, and direct US F-1 / I-20 Student Visa support with 3-year STEM OPT extensions.
