Why study at Ephraim

Ephraim is a picturesque, safe, and close-knit college town nestled in the majestic Sanpete Valley of central Utah at the base of the Wasatch Plateau (just 75 minutes south of Provo and 90 minutes from Salt Lake City). Globally acclaimed as one of the most cost-effective and highest-quality higher education gateways in the United States, Ephraim is the main campus home of Snow College (founded in 1888, consistently ranked #1 in the United States for Student Success and Retention among two-year and four-year state colleges by The Aspen Institute, CNN Money, and Chronicle of Higher Education). Snow College is world-famous for its premier 2+2 University Articulation & Transfer Pathways (offering guaranteed transfer of credits into prestigious universities including the University of Utah, Brigham Young University BYU, Utah State University USU, and top national universities across the US with a 98% transfer acceptance rate), Horne School of Music (one of only a few all-Steinway schools in the US, accredited by NASM), Software Engineering (ABET-accredited 4-year Bachelor of Science), Business Management, Engineering, and Nursing. Degrees are taught 100% in English with prestigious US NWCCU accreditations. International students benefit from an ultra-low total annual cost of attendance, dedicated international student family housing, breathtaking mountain outdoor recreation (skiing, hiking, national parks), and direct US F-1 / I-20 Student Visa support with 3-year STEM OPT work extensions.
