Admission requirements

  • Secondary School Certificate / High School Diploma & Transcripts

    Certified secondary school graduation certificate (Science stream with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for General Medicine; Mathematics/Physics for Engineering) with certified Russian or English translation, submitted to obtain the Official Invitation Letter approved by the Ministry of Education and Migration Department of Belarus.

Student Visa

International students require an Official Study Invitation Letter issued by the university and registered with the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus. With the official invitation, students apply for an entry Study Visa (Type D) at the Embassy or Consulate of Belarus in their home country (or receive an official Visa on Arrival at Minsk National Airport MSQ for countries without a Belarusian embassy). Upon arrival in Gomel, GSMU's International Department assists students in completing university enrollment, mandatory medical checkup, and registering for the annual Belarusian Temporary Residence Permit (Registration).
