Admission requirements

  • Academic Qualifications & Official Transcripts (OUAC / U of G Portal)

    Certified secondary school graduation certificate (High School Diploma, IB, GCE A-Levels, or recognized Foundation Year) or Bachelor's degree with official transcripts translated into English, submitted via OUAC 105 or U of G's online portal (minimum 80%–85%+ average for Engineering, Computer Science, and Business).

    IELTS Academic (minimum 6.5 with no band below 6.0), TOEFL iBT (minimum 89 with 21 in each section), Duolingo English Test (115+), or PTE Academic (60+).

Student Visa

International students require a Canadian Study Permit issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Key requirements include: an official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI - University of Guelph) accompanied by the Ontario Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL), proof of financial resources (minimum C$20,635/year for living expenses plus first-year tuition), clean police certificate, and medical examination.
