Admission requirements

  • High School Graduation Certificate & Transcripts

    Certified secondary school certificate with notarized English or Chinese translations, showing strong academic performance (minimum 75–80% for Zhejiang University).

  • Language Proficiency & Medical Exam

    IELTS (6.0–6.5+) or TOEFL iBT (85+) for English tracks; HSK Level 5 for Chinese tracks, plus Foreigner Physical Examination Form.

Student Visa

International students require a Chinese X1 Study Visa. Key documents: official Admission Notice and Form JW202/JW201 issued by Zhejiang University or accredited institutions in Hangzhou, valid passport, and physical exam report. Within 30 days of arrival in Hangzhou, the university coordinates with the Hangzhou Public Security Bureau to issue the Student Residence Permit.
