Why study at Kirksville

Kirksville is a historic, nationally renowned university and medical innovation town in Northeast Missouri, nestled in the rolling green hills near Thousand Hills State Park and Forest Lake, situated 90 miles north of Columbia and 150 miles northeast of Kansas City. Famous as the 'Birthplace of Whole-Person Healthcare and Osteopathic Medicine' (founded in 1892 by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still), Kirksville is an intellectual beacon boasting one of the highest concentrations of medical students, researchers, and scholars per capita in the United States.
