Why study at Kutaisi

Kutaisi is the ancient royal capital of Colchis and the vibrant technological and educational capital of western Georgia, home to the UNESCO-listed Gelati Monastery and the futuristic Kutaisi International University (KIU - Georgia's flagship ultra-modern technical university built in partnership with the Technical University of Munich TUM in Germany). Kutaisi is also home to Akaki Tsereteli State University (ATSU - founded in 1930, renowned for its WHO/WFME-accredited English-taught Faculty of Medicine). Degrees in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and General Medicine (MD) are taught 100% in English following world-class German TUM curricula and European Bologna standards. International students benefit from the lowest cost of living in Georgia, modern American-style campus facilities at KIU, low-cost flights via Kutaisi International Airport, and direct student residency.

Fees

Tuition fees in Kutaisi are among the most economical in Europe: English-medium undergraduate bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Management at Kutaisi International University (KIU) range from $3,000 to $4,500 per year (with German TUM-accredited dual-degree standards and merit scholarships). Accredited English-medium medical programs (General Medicine - MD) at Akaki Tsereteli State University (ATSU) range between $4,000 and $4,800 per year. Campus dormitories at KIU cost between $100 and $180 per month. General monthly living expenses are the most affordable in Georgia, averaging $250 to $450.
