Admission requirements
Secondary School Certificate / High School Diploma & University Online Portal
Certified secondary school graduation certificate (Tawjihi, Baccalaureate, Thanawiya Amma, WAEC, IGCSE, or equivalent) and official transcripts translated into English, submitted via the GAU or University of Kyrenia international admissions portal (automatic 50% international scholarship applied upon evaluation).
English Language Proficiency (IELTS / TOEFL / University English Proficiency Exam)
IELTS Academic (5.5–6.0+), TOEFL iBT (65–75+), or passing the University English Proficiency Placement Exam upon arrival. Students who do not pass enter the English Preparatory School on campus.
Student Visa
International students enter Northern Cyprus on a Student Entry Visa issued at Ercan International Airport (ECN) upon presenting their official University Acceptance Letter (Acceptance / Offer Letter), receipt of initial tuition deposit, and valid passport. After arrival on campus and completing university registration, the university's International Student Office assists students in obtaining their Student Residence Permit (İkamet) issued by the Ministry of Interior via the online portal, requiring a standard health screening (blood tests) at local state hospitals.
