Las Vegas is the world's undisputed entertainment, hospitality, gaming, and sports tourism capital, situated in the sunny Mojave Desert valley of Southern Nevada, located 4 hours northeast of Los Angeles. Beyond the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and Bellagio Fountains, Las Vegas is one of America's fastest-growing technology, biomedical, entertainment production, and professional sports economic boomtowns (Allegiant Stadium - home of the NFL Raiders, Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Sphere, Switch SUPERNAP data ecosystem, and Tesla/The Boring Company Vegas Loop), with 0% state personal income tax in Nevada. Hughes College of Engineering (Cybersecurity, Unmanned Aerial Systems/Drones, Robotics, and Civil Engineering), Lee Business School (AACSB-accredited), William S. Boyd School of Law (ranked #1 in the US for Legal Writing and Dispute Resolution), and Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. Degrees are taught 100% in English with prestigious US accreditations. International students benefit from zero state income tax, unmatched paid internship and career opportunities in global luxury resorts and tech conferences, generous UNLV International Merit Scholarships ($3,000 to $9,000/year), and direct US F-1 / I-20 Student Visa support with 3-year STEM OPT work extensions.
