Admission requirements

    Certified secondary school graduation certificate with official Russian translation and legalization/Apostille (Biology and Chemistry required for Belarusian State Medical University BSMU for direct entry into the 6-Year English Medium Medical program; Mathematics/Physics for engineering at BSU/BNTU).

Student Visa

International students receive an official Official Study Invitation (Pricas / Приглашение на обучение) issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Citizenship & Migration Department of Belarus through the university. With this invitation, students obtain their Belarusian Student Entry Visa at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in their country (or upon arrival at Minsk International Airport MSQ for countries without Belarusian diplomatic missions). Upon arrival in Minsk, the university assists the student with mandatory medical registration, statutory medical insurance, and obtaining the Temporary Residence Permit (TRP / ВНЖ) in Belarus for the full duration of studies.

How to Study

Choose your degree program at Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU - 6-Year General Medicine MD in English, 5-Year Dentistry), Belarusian State University (BSU #387 QS), or BSUIR.

Submit your high school diploma and passport copy to the university international admissions office to process your Official Study Invitation from the Ministry of Education.

Receive your official Invitation Letter by express courier.

Apply for your Belarusian Student Visa at the Embassy of Belarus (or arrange Airport Visa processing).

Fly to Minsk International Airport (MSQ - where university representatives meet arriving students), complete initial medical screening, and check into the BSMU Student Village residence.
