Admission requirements
Secondary School Diploma / Academic Transcripts & University Portal
Certified secondary school graduation certificate (High School Diploma, IB Diploma, or GCE A-Levels with Chemistry and Biology for 6-Year Doctor of Medicine MD / Dentistry programs) and official transcripts with certified English translation submitted via the UNIC or EUC online portal (online interview required for Medicine and Dentistry applicants).
English Language Proficiency (IELTS Academic / TOEFL iBT / Duolingo / IGCSE)
IELTS Academic (minimum 6.0 for undergraduate non-medical; 6.5 with 6.0 in all bands for Medicine MD and Dentistry), TOEFL iBT (79+ for undergraduate; 85+ for Medicine), Duolingo English Test (105+; 115+ for Medicine), or IGCSE English (Grade C/4+). Direct English Placement Test (NEP) is available.
Student Visa
International non-EU students receive an official Cyprus Entry Permit (Student Visa) issued by the Civil Registry and Migration Department (CRMD) through the university. Requirements include: official Letter of Acceptance / Admission from UNIC or EUC, attested copies of academic transcripts, certified police clearance certificate, attested medical report (blood tests for HIV, Hepatitis B & C, and Chest X-ray for TB), and proof of bank funds. The university submits the visa file directly to the Migration Department in Cyprus, which issues the official Entry Permit sent to the student. Upon arrival at Larnaca (LCA) or Paphos (PFO) airports, the university arranges airport reception, assists the student with mandatory medical re-testing, and issues the Temporary Residence Permit (Pink Slip / Alien Book) valid for the full study duration.
How to Study
