Why study at Sharjah

Sharjah is the UNESCO-crowned Cultural Capital of the Arab World and the premier academic hub of the northern Emirates, world-renowned for its iconic University City (Madinat Al Jami'ah)—a colossal 1,600-acre academic complex designed with majestic Islamic-Arabesque architecture. Sharjah hosts prestigious institutions including American University of Sharjah (AUS - ranked among the top 300 worldwide for Engineering and Architecture), University of Sharjah (UoS - the largest comprehensive university in the UAE with world-accredited Medical & Health Sciences Colleges), and Skyline University College. Degrees are taught in English with full CAA accreditation and prestigious ABET/AACSB global recognitions. Students benefit from more affordable living costs than neighboring Dubai, rich Islamic heritage, serene student environment, and 10-year UAE Golden Visa pathways for top performers.
