Tuition fees for international students in Egyptian public universities are charged in US Dollars and fixed by the Supreme Council of Universities. Admission requirements

  • Secondary School Certificate Equivalency

    Attested high school graduation diploma (General Secondary, IGCSE, American Diploma, or Arab equivalent) stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Egyptian Embassy.

  • Registration on Study in Egypt Portal

    Formal electronic registration and preliminary nomination through the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education 'Study in Egypt' official portal.

Student Visa

International students enter Egypt on an initial Tourist or Student Visa and obtain a Student Residence Permit (Iqama) for the duration of their academic studies. The university and the General Administration of الوافدين issue the necessary security clearings and residency endorsement letters to the Passports, Emigration and Nationality Administration (Mugamma/Abbassiya).
