Admission requirements

  • Secondary School Certificate & Legalized Translation

    Certified secondary school certificate and grade transcripts with consular legalization / Apostille, translated into Russian by a certified sworn translator and notarized.

  • Medical Certificate & HIV-Negative Test

    Official comprehensive medical fitness certificate and an official HIV-negative certificate issued within 3 months prior to arrival.

Student Visa

International students require an Official Study Invitation (electronic invitation / Telex) issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (MVD) or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MID). With this invitation, the student applies for a Single-Entry Student Visa at the Russian Embassy / Visa Application Center. Upon arrival, the university issues mandatory migration registration within 7 days and extends the visa into a Multi-Entry Student Visa for the duration of studies.

How to Study

Select your target Russian state university and study language (English or Russian via preparatory year).

Submit your academic documents and passport copy for evaluation.

The university applies for your official MVD study invitation.

Receive your electronic MVD invitation and lodge your student visa application at the Russian Embassy.

Book flights to Moscow or university city, and inform the university international office.

Arrive on campus, complete medical examination and fingerprinting, sign contract, and check into the dormitory.
