Why study at Ankara
Ankara is the political capital, diplomatic center, and premier academic research metropolis of the Republic of Turkey, home to the nation's most prestigious and highest-ranked universities. Anchored by Middle East Technical University (METU - globally ranked top 100 for Engineering and Physical Sciences), Bilkent University (prestigious English-medium private research pioneer), Hacettepe University (Turkey's #1 medical and health sciences institution), Ankara University, Gazi University, and TED University. Ankara offers hundreds of internationally accredited degrees taught 100% in English across Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, International Relations, and Economics within the European Bologna framework. Students benefit from an intellectual student-dominated atmosphere, affordable living costs compared to Istanbul, modern transport, and prominent Türkiye Scholarships (Türkiye Bursları) opportunities.
