Study abroad at Turkey

Turkey (Türkiye) is one of the world's most dynamic and popular educational hubs bridging Europe and Asia, home to over 200 modern universities fully integrated into the European Higher Education Area (EHEA / Bologna Process). Tuition fees in Turkey are remarkably competitive. At public state universities, undergraduate tuition ranges between $500 and $2,500 per year (and $3,000–$7,000/year for state medical faculties). International students enter Turkey on an e-Visa or consular Student Visa and obtain an official Student Residence Permit (Öğrenci İkamet İzni) through the Directorate General of Migration Management (Göç İdaresi). Key requirements include: official Student Certificate (Öğrenci Belgesi) from the university, valid passport, biometric photos, local student health insurance, proof of accommodation / address registration (UAVT), and payment of the residence card fee.
