Why study at Mosta

Mosta is a charming, historic, and vibrant central cultural and creative arts hub situated in the heart of the main island of Malta in the Mediterranean Sea, located just 15 minutes west of Valletta (the UNESCO World Heritage capital) and Sliema. Globally celebrated for the iconic Rotunda of Mosta (Sanctuary Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady - boasting the 3rd largest unsupported church dome in the world, famous for surviving a direct WWII aerial bomb hit that failed to detonate), historic limestone streets, Victoria Lines fortifications, and its central role in Malta's booming creative economy, game development, video game animation, and digital media industries. Mosta is the dedicated creative campus home of Malta's premier vocational and applied higher education institution: MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts (MCAST ICA - part of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology in Mosta, enrolling over 1,200 international and local creative students across specialized studios and high-tech digital production labs). MCAST ICA is internationally renowned for its Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degrees awarded in English in Game Art & Visual Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Media, Creative Media Production, Fashion, Fine Arts, and Product Design, alongside direct connections to the University of Malta (UM in nearby Msida) and Middlesex University Malta. In Malta, English is an official national language and 100% of higher education degrees are taught in English within the European Higher Education Area (ECTS). International students benefit from affordable tuition fees, Schengen Area free movement, warm Mediterranean lifestyle, and Malta's post-study work authorization.
