Secondary School Certificate & Matriculation Equivalency
Recognized secondary school diploma comparable to the Maltese Matriculation Certificate (Advanced and Intermediate level subjects) with certified English translations and required minimum grades in prerequisite subjects.

Student Visa
Non-EU/EEA students require a National D-Visa for Studies or a National Long-Stay Visa issued through Identità (formerly Identity Malta Agency) and the Maltese Embassy / VFS Global. Key requirements include: official Letter of Acceptance from the University of Malta or licensed higher education institution, proof of full tuition payment or bank deposit, proof of booked accommodation, travel medical insurance covering €30,000, and bank statements showing proof of financial self-sufficiency (minimum €25–€30 per day / €750–€900 per month). Upon arrival, the student receives the EU E-Residence Card for Study.
